History
Winston Hills was named after Britain’s Prime Minister Winston Churchill during World War II. This name was preferred to Churchill Hills. In the early days this area was named Model Farms as this was the area where a model farm was developed to show settlers the types of crops that could be grown in different seasons.

The area is well served by buses and well connected roads such as the M2 and M7, with nearby train stations being Seven Hills or Pennant Hills.

Winston Hills is the home to many sporting and recreational clubs and is home to Winston Hills Mall, a large shopping centre that features over 75 speciality shops, cafes and restaurants. There is also a pub named “The Winston” located next to the shopping centre.
